Senior Discount? Gender, Age, and Small Donor Fundraising
This co-authored project with my friend and fellow undergraduate researcher Reed Jeffries was funded by the Askew Fellows program through the Bob Graham Center. We presented as SPSA and MPSA thanks to support from the Graham Center and UF's political science department. We investigate the effect of age and gender on small donor fundraising. Our intersectional analysis of U.S. representatives' fundraising finds older women raise less from small contributions than expected. This work is published in the UF Journal of Undergraduate Research.

Meghan Markle, Race, and Feminism In Post-Brexit Britain
Co-authored a book chapter with Dr. Sharon Austin as part of the Center for European Studies Research Fellows Program. It will be published in the forthcoming book "Racism and the British Monarchy: A Meghan Markle Reader", co-edited by Duchess Harris and Julie Schwietert Collazo. Our is a content analysis of Times articles mentioning Megan Markle’s biracial identity and/or her feminist activism, positioned in the context of both the Brexit moment and Britain’s colonial history.
